As the great Harry Carrey would say: "Holy Cow, what a game!" Yes, what a campaign we've been treated to since early 2007 when tricksters on the varioius TV shows and politcal personalities from both Democratic and Repub parties began to position themselves for the important announcement that "yes indeed, I am a candidate for President of the United States of America.
Now I ask you: Do you remember Tom Tancredo? How about Dennis "the menace" Kucinich, yep, the Bear's favorite Bill Richardson from the great state of New Mexico was an astute candidate, who didn't advance much, mostly because of TV and yes, there was the sure nominee the former mayor of NY and hero of 911 Rudy, who just had too many skeltons in his former Gracie Mansion and was pro-choice, a no no with Repubs. What about Evan Bayh out there in Indiana, a sure bet, who went no where either for Pres or VP. Joe Biden and Chris Dodd, two very promising and experienced Senators were left out in the cold. Finally a strong economic mind and former governor of Massachusetts Mitt (we loved those gloves) Romney battled to the end but went down in flames. Hillary Clinton was a sensational candidate who battled the Democratic nominee to the wire.
Well their all gone and Barack Hussein Obama and John McCain are left standing and have duked it our for several weeks and wait history's mandate. It will come next Tuesday and all ready voters in many states are standing in long lines to vote early! Wow!
The issues have been explained during debates. The writers of the great newspapers and small ones throughout the country have spoken, endorsed, and anyone who hasn't spent at least some time on their friendly computers inhaling information, well so be it.
Tonight Barack Obama will speak to the nation and give what many say is a summation of his thoughts, works, and actions on behalf of his candidacy and that has become a bit controversial.
Yes, he means business. Since McCain will probably wait until Election Eve to speak we leave it to Obama to have his somewhat final say! DON'T MISS THIS SPEECH!
