Its Sunday morning and of course after waking at 6 AM and viewing my beloved C-Span or C-Span 2, I race to get my morning workout in and shave,shower and dump and its time for Meet the Press, Face the Nation, George Stepanopolis, The McLaughlin Report and of course Wolfie to finish off the morning.
Before you church goers get off on me and you swingers tell me to "Get a life", I must admit to being a real wierdo who loves sports, movies, good lookin women, less booze than the old days,
and Cream of Wheat! Yep and I sometimes do my Mass of the week on TV too, even that two hour job of Midnight Mass from St. Peters and Christmas Eve. I prefer Saturdays to Sundays for my weekly trip to some Catholic Church around town., preferably a Latin Mass with Gregorian chant!
What really gets to me is the Presidential Polling, the establishment of front runners and this question really would frost me: "If you lose Iowa, "I road a heard of cattle down my old Nebraski way. Thats how I came to be in the state of Ioway!", will you drop out of the race and go back to Washington, Chicago, New Mexico or Harlem?
Who in the hell does thepanderer Chris Matthews think he is" He and his "Hardballs" show, being sent to you every night, always provoking their guests to say something controversial, especially about Hillary or Barak or Mitt. We all know he loves John McCain but so what!
I don't need their polls to tell me who are the most qualified to be President: After all look at the Demos: The most qualified its easy to figure out are Joe Biden, Bill Richardson and Chris Dodd by far and with the Elephants its got to be that Baby Doctor Ron Paul with Mitt and his $ a close second! But what do we get: "the Zogby Poll, the CNN Poll, the Wall Street Journal Poll" all telling me its Edwards, Clinton, or Barak! And boy if you don't vote for one of the frontrunners in the polls you just don't get it!
What can Joe Biden be thinking these days as he sees his 1% rating in these phony polls. Awaken you Americans of little faith and cast your vote for the person you feel is most qualified to attempt to deal with the Congress, the States and ultimately with the people. All these promises are for naught if you can't sell your programs to the Congress and the people. After all the lucky guy or gal who becomes President will have to deal with the worst hand ever dealt of an incoming President. Above all don't be steamrollered by these "Cable Guys and Gals", who pick up their weekly checks pretending to know who will win in New Hampshire! Oh for the days of Murrow, Cronkite and Huntley Brinkley. That being said, I must admit to being a political junkie who watches all these numnuts!
Sure "the old Bear" does need to get a life!"

Cheers. Although your "qualified" boys (Biden, Dodd, et al) are part of the old machine. Anyone coming in must be prepared to bring corporate America to its knees, starting with Malt-o-Meal, Inc.
